How Bear Grylls leaves the noise behind

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Legendary adventurer Bear Grylls has one of the most hectic schedules on the planet, but he still manages to find time for Fliteboarding when he needs some quality R&R.

Living every inch of our Series 5 motto - leave the noise behind, Bear took the seaplane from Rose Bay in the heart of Sydney’s eastern suburbs, to the beautiful Cottage Point on the borders of the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase, national park. The short flight offers spectacular views of Sydney city including the famous harbour bridge and opera house, before giving way to nature at its finest as it tracks up the coast and over the national park.

His travelling companion was Flite Team rider and 7 x World Wakeboard Champion, Harley Clifford who helped get Bear on the water and even offered to teach him a few tricks.

Bear rode a Series 5 Fliteboard in the new Clay color option, featuring the revolutionary Flite Jet 2 propulsion system. This provides our best ride yet - incredibly smooth, quiet, powerful, safe and efficient - absolutely perfect for exploring the hidden coves and natural wonders of the national park.

Fliteboarders from all over the world are constantly getting in touch to tell just how special their time eFoiling is - flying over the water on clean, quiet electric power where the loudest noise is the sound of their cares melting away. It’s truly why Fliteboarding was invented and Bear was equally relaxed at the end of his session.

Look out for more of Bear riding his Fliteboard in episode 7 of his new TV show, Celebrity Bear Hunt that’s out now.
