Flite wins iF Design Award 2025
Leading eFoil innovator Flite is proud to announce its recent success at the iF Design Award 2025. Flite x Marc Newson MN60 Wave was awarded in the Sports/Outdoor category, as judges praised its seamless integration of ergonomics, efficiency and beauty, calling it “a revolution in performance design.”
Flite x Marc Newson is Flite’s most premium range, the result of a three year collaboration that merges cutting-edge hydrofoil technology with Marc Newson's renowned aesthetic. The pinnacle of the three board collection is the award-winning MN60 Wave, a single minded Fliteboard designed for riding swell.
The other eFoils in the collection are suited to all riders (MN86) and experienced or lighter weight riders (MN60). All three models boast a stunning attention to detail, with clean lines and Marc’s distinctive and favoured Voronoi pattern on the deck grip.
A dream collab
Flite x Marc Newson was years in the making, dreamed up by Flite Founder David Trewern. Together, they worked tirelessly to refine and sculpt the most premium Fliteboard they could imagine. Components such as MN Flite Controller and MN Carbon eFoil are now available for purchase with other setups, including adrenaline-inducing ULTRA L2.
As one of the world’s most influential designers, Marc Newson has created for clients such as Louis Vuitton, Ferrari, Montblanc, Hermès and Riva. He has worked across a wide range of disciplines, from furniture, luxury goods and technology to marine, automotive and aviation design.
He is the only designer to be represented by Gagosian Gallery.
